Happy Halloween

I love rituals and traditions. I can't begin to tell you.

Man!

Like smoking a cigarette after sex, or going to church on Christmas Eve; toasting somebody or something before beginning my first drink of the night; voting on election day; turning a long walk into a pilgrimage; passing down family heirlooms; praying before meals when I eat with Mom and Dad; pausing for a moment to appreciate a beautiful woman after she's passed on the street; going to films in theater; reading the liner notes while listening to an album for the first time; watching a Stanley Cup game.

Weddings not so much, somehow.

Happy Halloween. I forgot to buy candy, so my trickortreaters will be getting loonies this year.

loonies? what is your address?

yeah, thankfully no one's come so far.

Somehow a quarter would, I think, make them feel cheated. No?

for sure, quarters would do no good at all. by the way, appreciating beautiful people is far different than checking them out - agreed,

jon, you said exactly what we were all thinking.

Go see 'Sleep Furiously' if possible.

'Sleep Furiously,' eh?

Okay. I'll add it my list. Thanks for the recommendation.

Checking out is fun too, but yeah -there's a difference.
