Then he showed me some art nouveau in a book that did nothing for me. And some that did. Something. Forrest's writing style is rubbing off on me.
In the art I can play characters, so it has a dynamic that is missing in philosophy.
Every once in a while I get in an argument with Joel that brushes up against discussing art vs. philosophy. Philosophy always wins. Or, to put it another way, Joel always wins.
