Wim Wenders on DVD - and The Dirty Mac

I love Wim Wenders. I wish I had a multi-region DVD player.

I own a ratty VHS copy (complete with a huge, white bubble case -like for Disney tapes) of Alice in the Cities.
Kings of the Road is at the very top of my list of films to see.

I'm curious about his adaptation of Peter Handke's novel The Goalie's Anxiety at the Penalty Kick.

Legend has it that there's a 280 minute version of his 1991 film Until the End of the World floating around. Hmmm.

Alice in the Cities is a film I take really personally -especially two shots: one, of a kid listening to a song on a jukebox; the second, of a kid following a car on his bike.

Wenders is also the creator of the greatest book of photography I've ever encountered.

I swear I used to know what "solipsistic" meant.

The Dirty Mac.
