Letters & Drawings XIV

And
With,
What the wink can do
When it wants to
Whomever with
Will you?

The Modern Prophet
In the kind of town you knew existed only because someone assured you it did.

Of him it was written, "I pull you in, and nothing appears but your face that much closer to my chin."

That bit about the modern prophet . . . nice. I'd love to quote it to the next person claiming to bring "a prophetic word" from a totally unstrutinizable place.

I love that your "entry into colour" isn't the whole spectrum at once, but starts with red, as if you are discovering the spectrum gradually over time, like a blind person slowly recieving sight.

Just an idea, but I think it would be cool to intersperse your Hafford story with your drawings (as well as photos), the same way the story itself is a not-always-discernible blend of myth and reality.

Great idea. I am definitely going to have to figure out some way of making that happen.

and thanks so much Jon. Seriously.

I'm sure I'm repeating myself endlessly with this, but let me say again how much your thoughts mean to me.

You're a real friend.
